Living Water Emmaus February 2024
Living Water Emmaus,
Thank you, Jesus. I’m excited to share a brief glimpse into walk 111. I know each walk is, “The Best Walk Ever”! As I have personally seen this time after time. To avoid conflict, I’m not claiming that! However, I am claiming a particular anointing over this walk. It was special and bathed in the Holy Spirit from the jump. This walk had a presence early on that most of us have never witnessed that early. Prayers erupted on day one among the tables and men were literally covering the floor in supplication.
Worship had a presence about it this walk, that men left their seats ever song and soaked in his presence. The greatest achievement was the four men that gave their lives to Christ this weekend and multiple re-dedications to a Christian life. I can’t express enough; this walk had an anointing on it. If this is any indication on our year, we have a lot to come. I believe we are going to have an influx of community like we haven’t seen in a long time. This includes new and a reemergence of the former.
The soil is fertile now, and the Emmaus community is destined to build the leaders it is commissioned to build.
Let us regroup and begin to pray and petition for Patsy Ivy and walk 112. Let us get behind this walk and bring a full roster and lavish it with Agape gifts. The direction is set, and we are ready to let the next group of women experience something truly special.
As for Community it is time to come together with the Emmaus family. There are so many places to serve. If you want to work and walk and haven’t, make it known. If you want to serve in any capacity, let the community know. As the community lay director, my promise to you is that no voice will go unheard this year. We will make opportunities for all that are willing to serve.
DeColores, Christopher Rowten
