APRIL 2025

Happy Spring Saints,

As we approach this Easter holiday, I wanted to share a few thoughts to ponder from things I have seen on social media. This coming weekend is more than we will probably ever comprehend. The fact that God sent Jesus to die for each and everyone of us is something I will never fully grasp.

When Jeff was alive, he often said “I want to Live a Life worth Jesus Dying for.” That never meant so much to me until he passed and the reflection of this coming weekend. I’m failing at that daily.  Are you living a life worth Jesus dying for?

This is the week Jesus kissed Judas & washed his feet. What is stopping us from walking it out as well? (I am talking to myself). I just want to encourage you all to lay it and leave it at the cross. Pick up your cross and labor to be more like Christ. We’re in a dying world full of hurt, wounds, and offense. Let’s look different than the world so they know exactly who to turn to, by our walk, fruit & examples.

A local pastor shared this: Take the one thing that betrays you, offer it back to God. Maybe it’s your mind, or maybe it is your heart…Maybe it’s the memory, fear, or lie that will just not relent. Give it to God and ask Him to use the very thing that seeks to destroy you to set you free. It’s not stronger than Him. It’s not.

“…and to him who has no might He increases strength.” –Isaiah 40:29
